~*~SUPPORT PROOF AND SAVE YER SOUL~*~

Meet Roel, and his kitten Bluebonnet. Blue is perched atop his sombrero to keep Roel safe, warding away imaginary birds spawned by consuming the worm from a tequila bottle. Roel is part of a group of misfits who are determined to lead a responsible life, but they continue to screw up along the way. After each misadventure they congregate around their reluctant guru, nicknamed Jesus Cornbread, who delivers them infinite wisdom, sustenance and guidance on their path to salvation. Jason Archer, creator of Jesus Cornbread and the Alcoholics, is an animator who presently teaches animation classes at Texas State. The serigraph on the wall was printed by a group of Texas State advanced printmaking students for Archer during the summer of 2011.
This print is part of the Silent Print Auction hosted by PROOF. The auction ends at 5 pm tomorrow, so come bid on this beauty before it’s gone!
You can find more of Jason’s work at http://www.thejasonarcher.com/jasonarcher/jasonarcher.html
